Never go with a host that has unlimited space and bandwidth because there is no such thing as unlimited.

I would say use web hosting with cpanel and fantastico. It really saves you alot of time when you are installing scripts or using any software in the control panel.

Some good web hosting companies are hostgator, hostmonster, eleven2, thinkhost, eboundhost etc to name a few.

Better ones would be Hostmonster and Thinkhost.

The really value for money I had go with eboundhost.just $3.95/month but you get all the bells and whistles like unlimited bandwidth, unlimited domains. And uptime is 99%.

The answer to your question really depends on exactly what you wantto host and what kind of features you need. For example, do you need to use cgi scripts, or a specific shopping cart? Or is it more important that the host has as close to 100% uptime as possible and great customer service.

Do you want a free domain name? Or would you rather pay less for the hosting.

In general, you’ll get better customer service from the bigger companies, such as GoDaddy and HostGator. Before you make a decision, I’d recommend drawing up a list of priorities and then finding out which hosts offer the features you need.

I would recommend “IX WebHosting” because it’s very cheap and reliable. Their support service is awesome. This company offers site building tools, application vault, web mail, antivirus, Php, MysQL and hosts unlimited websites in one plan. Don’t go for free web hosting.They are not reliable.
